FAQ

Have questions? Here are the answers to some of our most commons questions:

> What the heck is sublimation? Sublimation printing is a process that creates a weightless, permanent design on light/medium colored shirts. It uses a special water-based ink that turns from a liquid to a solid when applied to polyester fabric using high heat and pressure to form a permanent bond. This means you get awesome shirts with a permanent design that you can't even feel (no extra weight, cracking or peeling - yay!).

> Do you offer DTG, screenprint, vinyl or embroidery? Sublimation is our passion and specialty! We do not offer other print methods.

> What does it mean when you say "faded" designs? Since the ink bonds only with polyester fibers in sublimation, you can essentially choose whether you want a bright, vibrant print or a more faded look. It all depends on the fabric content of the shirt. We absolutely love the vintage faded looks that are trending right now (not to mention the softness of the blended fabric shirts), but if you prefer a more vibrant print, feel free to reach out and we can use 100% polyester shirts for your order.

> Can I get a black or navy shirt? No. With sublimation, lighter colors work best to highlight your awesome design choice!

> What is the brand of shirt? We use Bella+Canvas, Next Level or District premium blend shirts as these are the absolute softest shirts available. Due to COVID shutdowns and back orders, we purchase based on availability. Please feel free to reach out if you have a preference for your order and we will let you know if we are able accommodate your request.

> What is the fabric content? Depending on the brand, it is a blend of polyester, airlume combed and ringspun cotton, and possibly rayon.

> Can I wash and dry my t-shirt? Absolutely! Our shirts are preshrunk, so no worries there! Polyester, cotton and rayon will do best and last longest being washed in cool water and dried with low heat, but washing and drying will never affect the quality of the design (it is permanent - woo hoo!).
